Brian is a Master Stylist on the Jeremy Stephens Salon Design Team and the owner of Brian Avery Salon in Tuscaloosa, AL making him available for reservations in both locations. With over 20 years of experience, his bespoke approach to customizing haircuts is sure to create easy styling for even the most tricky hairstyles. He is a Certified Hair Extensionist and his extensive haircolor knowledge and years of experience makes him very versatile as a colorist (although his personal favorites are blonding and highlighting techniques). Brian’s experience also allows him to offer a direct and concise consultation so you can be confident that he will let you know what is best for you and your hair type.

Brian is a pet dad and loves interior decorating and seasonal home décor.  He has a love for things that are well-made and preferably come with an interesting story.  His work ethic is impeccable, making him very reliable, and you can rest assured that he will always be honest with you when questioned for his opinion (both in life and career).

Michael began his career with Jeremy immediately following his graduation from the Paul Mitchell Xcell Academy.  While training as a Protégé Stylist with Jeremy, he learned how to fine tune his formal education and skills into a customized guest experience and is now Jeremy’s Design Partner and a Certified Hair Extensionist.  Michael’s attention to detail, genuine nature, and awareness of the importance of customer care will make him a great stylist for you whether you are looking for a new customized look or consistent maintenance of your hairstyle and haircolor.

Michael is also a lover of nature, a pet parent, and a constant seeker of spiritual and mental peace and harmony.  He enjoys getting to know each guest as an individual and makes a noticeable effort to find ways to identify with your own personal interests and needs.  His balanced energy is sure to put you at ease and encourage you to relax and enjoy your time in the salon from the moment you sit in his chair for your initial consultation.

Walker has been with Jeremy since shortly after his graduation from the Virginia College School of Cosmetology.  After working behind the chair as a Protégé Stylist, he found his passion for customer care drew him into the position of the Salon Manager and Concierge.  His genuine nature, and commitment to helping to make your salon experience customized and seamless, will make him unforgettable from the moment you first speak with him.  His educational background in both cosmetology and counseling help him to fine tune not only the reservations process via phone or email, but also your in-salon guest experience.  He makes every effort to make sure that he helps to match you with the right stylist for your personality, hair needs, schedule, and/or beauty budget.  

Walker is a caring and spiritually centered soul with an empathetic approach to every personal interaction.  He is Jeremy’s second voice, eyes, and ears, and strives every day to improve both his skill set as a client care coordinator and as a leader among the Design Team.  Walker will always make every effort to find a way to meet every need and exceed your expectations.

Following his graduation from the University Academy of Hair Design, Addison began his career in a corporately overseen salon.  This experience offered him the opportunities a new stylist needs to explore their skillset and learn the finer details of consultation and time management.  He quickly moved into a Protégé Stylist Position with Brian Avery (Owner of Brian Avery Salon in Tuscaloosa, AL and Master Stylist on the Jeremy Stephens Salon Design Team).  He spent several years under Brian’s guidance to learn how to elevate the salon experience for each guest and customize each haircut and haircolor to meet and exceed your expectations.  Addison is a texture specialist and fearless colorist with a well thought-out approach to every guest’s finished look.  He is currently available for appointment reservations at Jeremy Stephens Salon, as well as Brian Avery Salon in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Addison is a pet parent, vintage enthusiast, and has a unique approach to learning EVERYTHING he can about anything that peaks his interest. (If you get him started talking about Barbie, just make sure you’ve got a few minutes to spare.) His diverse interests and hobbies outside of the salon help him mesh seamlessly with a very wide variety of personalities.
